In this article We'll cover the essentials of what you need to know to fill your Studio with artworks, begin selling them, and getting your first revenue.
To add and sell your artwork, you have to create a new account or log in to an existing one.

Attract explorers, buyers and experts by introducing yourself. Complete your profile information with biography, custom link and CV.
To add more information to your profile:
Profile
on the left sidebarEdit profile
button. Or, if you are using a mobile app, press on ⚙️
and go to Public profile
After you log in, you can add new artwork. You can add them from two places:
Profile
on the sidebar, select the Studio
tab, and click on Add artwork

→ + New artwork
to start adding new artwork.On Subjektiv, you can add finished artworks and artworks that are still in progress.

On Subjektiv, you can add artwork at different stages:
Finished
artworks in which you don't plan to make any additional changes. Those artworks can be sold.In-progress
artworks that you are creating. You just made your first sketch and want to share your future creative process with the community. That is an excellent option for that!While adding a Finished
artwork, you have to add the following details:
Title
Description: It can be an artwork idea, the story behind it, or even a quote that provoked you to create an artwork.
Medium: Select one from the list.
Images: We require at least 3 photos for flat artwork: front side, zoomed details, and back side of artwork. But you can add additional photos, too.

Dimensions: WxHxD in cm
Factual weight: Optional for flat artworks such as paintings. Obligatory for sculptures and ceramics.
Materials used
Year of creation
Style: Select one from the list. We use it for easy filtering in search.
Subject: Select one from the list. We use it for easy filtering in search.
Tags: They are optional. We use them only to improve artwork discoverability in search.

In-progress
artwork requires less information from the list. The only difference here is that instead of images of finished artwork, we ask for:

We use Posts
to uncover the story of the artwork. You can share the creative process, add shows and exhibitions where artwork was presented, and share any other content using Posts
.
To create a new post, you can:
Add a new post from the sidebar:

to open the modal with all artworks that you created and owned.Add new post directly from the artwork page:
Profile
on the sidebar, select the Studio
tab, and click on the artwork you need.+ Add post
button on the right block with the artwork title.We have two post types that you can use to uncover the artwork’s story:
Update
posts are a great option for sharing a creation process, artwork details, videos, etc.Event

Post types available on Subjektiv
Before selling any artwork, you must complete the identity verification and payout setup process. To start a setup process:
Settings
on the left sidebar, select Payouts
Set up
Connect
Press on Sell artwork to continue
To start selling an artwork, you have to:
Profile
on the sidebar, select Studio
tab and click on the artwork you need. It should be in Not Available
status.Sell artwork
on the right block with the artwork title.not connected

, you will see the modal screen with the next steps required.verified

Add artwork price: Set the artwork price that buyers will see. We take our Subjektiv commission (30%) from this amount.

Add artwork location: Set the location where the artwork is stored. This helps calculate delivery costs and speeds up the shipping process.
Set packaging specifications: Specify if the artwork is mounted and who will pack the artwork. Tell us:
Attach a certificate of authenticity: We recommend attaching the digital version of a certificate in addition to the physical one when sending artwork to the buyer.
Start selling

to own now!Once somebody places an order, you will be notified via email. Your artwork will change its status to Delivering
. And we will start to do the magic from our side.
To track the order progress for an artwork:
Go to Profile
on the sidebar, select the Studio
tab, and click on the artwork you need.
The order status and last update date on the right block with the artwork title will be shown to you.
Click the Details
button to open the order details page.

The delivery process is divided into four steps:
Once the artwork is delivered to the buyer, we will send your revenue to the connected payout account. The funds may be received in up to 7 days.
