In this article Subjektiv is a free to use platform that connects artists, experts and art lovers across discovering and trading art. Here we’ll cover all ways to join Subjektiv with or without an account.

Exploring Subjektiv as a Guest

On Subjektiv, you can explore artworks and bookmark them as Saved without creating an account. However, you must create an account or log in to own artwork and access more advanced features such as purchasing artwork, saving lists, following other users, leaving reflections, etc.

Create a new account

An account is required to access advanced features such as purchasing and selling artworks, following users, leaving reflections, messaging etc. To create a new account:

• Go to Profile page and press on Create account

• Enter your email, create a password, and press Create account. We will send you an email to confirm your email address.

• Open the mailbox used in the previous step. Find a letter sent from Subjektiv with the verification link.

  • Check the spam folder: Sometimes emails can be directed to the spam folder.
  • Verify the email address accuracy: Ensure there were no errors made when entering the email address during registration.
  • Request email resend: Press on Resend in a modal bottom to send a new email. </aside>

• Open Verification letter. Press Verify Email . You will be redirected to Subjektiv to complete the setup.

Set up your profile

First step of a profile set up process.

Step 1. Define your role on Subjektiv

On Subjektiv we have three main roles:

• Follower: This is a base role that allows you to discover great artworks, follow users, purchase artworks, resell them, and more.
• Artist. Artists can access all the features that followers do. But additionally they can add their artworks, sell them, submit for expert reviews, share the creative process, events and much more.
• Expert. Experts can access all the features that followers do. But additionally they can write expert review on the artworks.

Step 2. Introduce yourself with basic details

Then you have to complete all the essential details:

• Set profile picture. It adds a personal touch and helps others connect with you more easily.
• Enter your first and last name. Please use your real name, it will be used in financial operations and delivery when you decide to sell or buy artworks.
• Choose your username.
• Set up your location. This will be shown on your public profile.

Press Continue when everything is filled. And you are ready to discover Subjektiv!

Login to existing account

To log in to your existing account:

• Go to Profile page and press on Log in
• Enter your email, password, and press Log in
